Board of Directors
Promise of Life Network is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of individuals from a variety of church traditions and professional backgrounds. Every member is a committed Christian who is dedicated to protecting the unborn and their families. We are honored to have serving on our Board at this time the following members:

Tom Meling
Board President Rev.
Reverend Tom Meling has served as the pastor of Zion Baptist Church in Slippery Rock for over thirty years. During his time as pastor he has also served as a track coach, primarily at Slippery Rock High School. Tom and his wife Kathe live in Slippery Rock and have four children and eight grandchildren. When he isn't pastoring or coaching Tom enjoys golfing, reading, and watching movies.

Matt Fuss
Vice President
Matt works as a professor at Geneva College in the Business Department and lives in Grove City with his wife, Chelle, and their two children Zane & Logan (both in college). They attend Transformation Church, also in Grove City. Matt enjoys all things outdoors including camping, hiking, boating, hunting & fishing. He is a firearms enthusiast, a NRA certified handgun instructor, a PA State Hunter Safety instructor, and an amateur gun collector.

Renee Squire
Secretary
Renee Squire spent much of her professional career as an instructor teaching nutrition, health and food science for the Pennsylvania State University. She also served as the admissions director and health teacher for Beaver County Christian School. Renee earned her BS degree in Medical Dietetics from the Pennsylvania State University and her MS in Nutrition from Michigan State University. Renee and her husband, Ken, have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. They reside in the Mohawk school district and attend Bethel Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Renee enjoys biking, backpacking and spending time with grandchildren.

Dana McConahy
Board Member
Dana works at Eaton Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA as a Director of Global Logistics where she has been for over 14 years. Prior to Eaton she worked in Supply Chain in the automotive Industry for 12 years. Dana went to Penn State University with a BS in Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Manufacturing Management from GMI. Dana is married to Toby McConahy; they live in the Mohawk area and have two sons. They have attended Victory Christian Center in Coitsville, OH for over 12 years. Dana enjoys reading, spending time with family, riding ATV’s with her husband and watching movies.

STEPHEN SHIELDS
Board Member
Stephen is the Director of Aviation for a local company, flying out of the Grove City Airport. Stephen has a B.S. in Aeronautical Science from LeTourneau University in Longview, TX. He has an Airline Transport Pilot Rating and also an Aircraft Mechanic Rating, with 25 years of flying experience. Stephen lives near Slippery Rock with his wife and two children. He attends Grove City Alliance Church. When not flying, Stephen can be found shooting guns or working and riding on various farm and off road vehicles. ​

Sarah M. Bowen
Executive Director "ex officio"
Sarah began with Alpha Omega Center as a college intern in 2008, and has been the executive director since 2014. Sarah and her husband Anthony have been married for 12 years and Anthony stays home with and homeschools their four sons, Tommy, Eli, Zeke, and Jonah. Sarah graduated from Geneva College with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a minor in Business and is currently working towards her MBA. Her first book, Courageously Pro-Life, and other resources for pregnancy centers are available on POLN. When Sarah isn’t working to end abortion she can be found knitting, riding her razor scooter, bicycling, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Joann Lamb MD
Medical Director
Joann is a physician and has been practicing with Family Medicine in New Castle, PA since 1999. She earned her B.S. from Penn State University and M.D. from Penn State College of Medicine at Hershey before completing her internship and residency training at Heritage Valley Health System. In addition to her office practice, Joann has also served as medical director of local home health and hospice agencies since 2016. She is also on the board of directors of the Butler Health System PHO (Provider Hospital Organization). Joann is married to John Lamb; they live in the Mohawk area and have three children, Lily, Johnny, and Luke. They are parishioners of St. Vitus Catholic Church, Holy Spirit Parish in New Castle, PA. In her free time, Joann enjoys golfing, traveling, and attending her children's sporting events.
