Promise of Life Network
Our team is made up of dedicated staff and volunteers, all serving under the Promise of Life Network. While we work together toward a common mission, our staff also provide support within specific branches of the organization. We are deeply grateful for everyone who contributes to making this work possible.

Sarah Bowen
Executive Director
About Sarah
Sarah began with Alpha Omega Center as a college intern in 2008, and has been the executive director since 2014. Sarah and her husband Anthony were married in 2008, and Anthony stays home with their six sons, Tommy, Eli, Zeke, Jonah, Jonathan, and Jeremiah, and homeschools the four oldest. Sarah graduated from Geneva College with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a minor in Business and is currently working towards her MBA. Her first book, Courageously Pro-Life, and other resources for pregnancy centers are available on POLN. When Sarah isn’t working to end abortion she can be found knitting, riding her razor scooter, bicycling, and spending time with her family.

Diane Double
Director of Support Services
About Diane
Diane joined the team in 2016 and oversees all support services to ensure all of our processes run smoothly and that each team member has the equipment, supplies, and information they need to serve our community. Diane is a graduate of Grove City College and enjoys hiking, exercising, reading, and baking. In addition to her work at Promise of Life Network, Diane serves on her local school board. She and her husband also enjoy spending time cheering on their children, Natalie and Ryan, as they compete in sports.

MaryJo Summers
Director of Local Operations
About Mary Jo
Mary Jo has been serving as part of this ministry since 2003. Initially she was in charge of our abstinence education program, and a huge part of getting it to where it is today, and most recently she serves as our Director of Local Operations. Mary Jo oversees all of our local ministries and is dedicated to ensuring that each client, student, and family is treated with dignity, respect, and love. Mary Jo enjoys spending time with her family and serving in her church. She and her husband Bob have five grown children and five grandchildren.

Suzy Dambach
Bookeeper
About Suzy
Suzy has been part of our team since 2015 and serves as our bookkeeper. Suzy helps each division coordinator to spend their budget carefully, ensures all of our bills are paid, and processes all of our donations. In addition, she maintains all of our personnel files. Suzy enjoys the outdoors, especially camping, and spending time with her family. She and her husband Glen have two children and four grandchildren.

Christina Edwards
New Beginnings Coordinator
About Christina
Christina joined our team in July 2021 as the New Beginnings Coordinator. She graduated from Geneva College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified mental health coach. Christina is passionate about following God’s call on her life to have a positive impact on children and families. Christina loves spending time with her husband and their five pets.

Jackie Cooper
New Beginnings Site Manager
About Jackie
Jackie has been on the team since 2013 as our New Beginnings Coordinator. Jackie ensures that each family enrolled in our New Beginnings program is treated with love and dignity, and that they are able to earn the items they need to care for their children. Jackie loves building relationships with clients and sharing with them the love of Christ. Jackie enjoys gardening, biking, hiking, and spending time with her three grandchildren.

Shannon Watts
New Beginnings Site Manager
About Shannon
Though Shannon officially began her journey with POLN as a Parenting Coach for New Beginnings in March of 2024, she began her journey with POLN as a volunteer years earlier with Alpha Omega Center. She has a heart for coming alongside women and helping them grow as a mother – spiritually, mentally, and relationally. Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and six kids – Addi, Rylah, Emma, Talc, Joha, and Sadie. She also enjoys doing anything outside, from gardening to trail running, and being with friends and family.

Rachel Bobic
AOC- RN Nurse Manager
About Rachel
Rachel joined the team as the oncoming Nurse Manager and is presently shadowing alongside our current Nurse Manager, while working on her own certification in Limited OB Sonography. A graduate of Jameson School of Nursing, Rachel has been a nurse since 2004 and has worked in a variety of areas of care. She is happy to be working in a position that is back within the realm of women’s health, as well as assisting both individuals and families again. When she is not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family while kayaking, baking, or sitting around the bonfire. She also enjoys being artistic, or crafty in a variety of ways.

Julie Hudak
AOC - CRNP
About Julie
Julie has served on the team as our Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner since 2019. Her primary role is treating clients who are positive for an STD and teaching them about healthy relationships, abstinence, and the risks of sex outside of marriage. Julie has been a registered nurse for 28 years and a nurse practitioner for three years. Julie and her husband Paul have two sons, one in college and one in high school.

Tracey McDermott
AOC - Client Services Coordinator
About Tracey
Tracey joined our team in 2019 in Client Care and Marketing, bringing her expertise and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (Advertising) from WVU. She maximizes our marketing budget’s impact and supports individuals and families navigating potential STDs or unplanned pregnancies. Passionate about guiding college students toward healthy choices, Tracey also enjoys cooking, beach time, and cherishing her time at home with her husband, Ron, and their daughters, Ella, Emma, and Elena.

Becky Montoro
AOC - Client Advocate
About Becky
Becky joined our team in 2024, serving as a Client Advocate. She is a graduate of Grove City College where she majored in Biblical and Religious Studies, with a minor in Political Science. She is passionate about the right to life and works to support those facing planned and unplanned pregnancies and potential STDs. In her free time, Becky enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, cooking, game nights, and exploring the outdoors.

Lydia Heykamp
HRT - Coordinator
About Lydia
Lydia first joined our team in 2024 as both Volunteer Coordinator and Healthy Relationships Today Presenter. Originally hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Lydia moved to the East coast to study government at Patrick Henry College. She is passionate about Pro-Life issues and believes that change starts with effective education. In her free time, Lydia enjoys playing board games, swing dancing, reading good books, and exploring new coffee shops.

Michaela Ray
Director of International Ops
About Michaela
Our Director of International Operations joined the team in 2018. She oversees our national and international ministries, including partnering with churches and pregnancy centers around the world to help unreached people groups hear the pro-life message and receive proper care for their unborn children. She has her Master’s degree in Communication and enjoys crafting, cycling, and hanging out with her cat.

Nicole Reeder
Chatline Coordinator / SIH Leader
About Nicole
Nicole has been in ministry advocating for healthy families for 15 years. She also has worked as a volunteer coordinator and Client Service Coordinator. She is a graduate from Summit University with a degree in specialized ministries, with an emphasis on family counseling. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 16yrs and her two teenage children. She likes cooking, hiking, hosting friends, board games, dogs, and coffee. With her spare time she serves as a volunteer at a local PRC and works with her husband at their church as Youth Leaders. Most of all she is passionate about the sanctity of all life.

Kayla Smith

About Kayla
Kayla is a graphic and web designer with 8 years of experience creating impactful digital and visual content. A dedicated mother and pet lover, she enjoys the company of her two dogs and cat. Kayla joined Promise of Life Network in early 2024, driven by her deep love for the Lord and a passion for helping others. Her creativity and adventurous spirit shine through in both her professional work and personal life, as she seeks to make a positive difference in the world.
